Applications are invited for admission into its Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Programme through OPENNET – III at all India level, for the academic year 2013 – 2015 at Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi.
Eligibility:
- 10+2 with three years Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with minimum two years experience in the profession. For male nurses or nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM programme must have a certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery.

- 10th class (matriculation or its equivalent with three years diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) with minimum of five years experience in the profession. For male nurses or nurses who have not done midwifery in the GNM programme must have a certificate in any of the nursing courses of 6-9 months duration prescribed by the Indian Nursing Council in lieu of midwifery.
Selection Process: Selection is based on an Entrance Examination that would be conducted on Sunday, 8th September 2013 at all India level.

- Prospectus and application forms can be obtained from the Registrar (SRD), IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi-110068 and from all the Regional Centres of IGNOU by sending a sum of Rs. 1050/- through a DD / IPO in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi / city of concerned Regional Centre or by paying Rs. 1000/- in cash at the respective sale counters.
- Prospectus and application forms can also be downloaded from the website www.ignou.ac.in and sent along with a DD / IPO for Rs. 1050/- in favour of IGNOU payable at New Delhi.
